M.D. loved this activity and it was his idea to sort the pom poms by color. I had first put out various colored pom poms and the red and green ice cube trays. He transfered them using the tongs and placed them according to color. He refused to include the other colors, so I ended up giving him more of the red and green so he could fill up the ice cube trays. He enjoyed doing this activity several times in the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas.
