The Child Who Didn't Want to Touch

I previously posted how MD had some problems with the sensation of touch.  He mostly had difficulty with touching anything gooey like, lotion, gels, finger paint, etc.  But over the past months I have worked on this with him slowly by introducing lots of sensorial activities but not pressuring him (because I knew that wouldn't work.  He's come a long way.  Last goal is FINGER PAINTS.  He still is not wanting to do that but I hope he will soon.

On this day he was a little reluctant to touch the colored shaving cream at first, and a little later I couldn't even get his attention as he focused on touching the cream.  He really enjoyed it and didn't want to stop feeling it.  Yay.
